Kaity

Kaity was raised in Arlington Heights, Illinois by her mom and dad. She has both an older and younger brother. Kaity has always had a love of animals, but she credits Winston, her hairless Guinea Pig, with helping her find her career calling. After an illness requiring surgery, Kaity changed paths and is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital.

Hoping to become a teacher like her mother, Kaity graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Education in Illinois. After caring for Winston post-surgery, she enrolled at Gateway Technical College and graduated from their Veterinary Science program with honors. Kaity has combined her love of teaching and her passion for animals by educating about pet care and advocating for animals.

Kaity credits her fiance with being her biggest supporter, embracing her career change. She has a full house at home with three hairless Guinea Pigs: Winston, Harry, and Sherlock, two crested Guinea Pigs: Watson and Big Man, a werewolf Guinea Pig named Lil Man, and Gizmo- a hairy Guinea Pig. She also has Larold, a Leopard Gecko with a clover pattern on his back. Kaity is an artist and draws inspiration from her pets.
