Certified Veterinary Technician
Emily grew up in Waukesha. She was volunteering at HAWS one day and decided that working with animals was what she wanted her career to be. She attended UWM and Madison Area Technical College. She did her externship here with us at Brook-Falls and has accepted a position here with us once she finishes school.
The joy of her own pets is what drives her to do more than just basic pet care. She wants nothing but the absolute best for her pets and has taken that knowledge and experience into practice. She feels that every pet parent deserves to know the best information that is out there for the longevity of their human/animal relationships.
Emily has a mixed breed dog named Mae that loves to explore and go on sniffari's. She also has 2 kittens that love to wrestle with each other when they are not chewing on her headphone wires. Between school, work, married life and caring for her animals she keeps pretty busy. Her husband Joe has seen her through all of life's worst downs and best ups, but still loves and encourages her through it all. She loves her family!
In her downtime, she likes to go with her husband and Mae on hikes. Sometimes, they even take the kittens with them on these outdoor adventures. During this downtime, she loves to feel the peace that surrounds her by just being out in nature and around the ones she loves.
