Due to the increase in coughing dog cases in our area and nationwide, we are instituting a new Bordetella vaccine protocol for any pet that is using services at Brook-Falls Resort.
- The intranasal Bordetella vaccine will be required every 6 months for all dogs that use the resort.
- We also recommend this for all social dogs or those going to groomers and dog parks.
- The intranasal Bordetella vaccine has been shown to only last from 8 to 10 months.
- Dogs vaccinated every 6 months also have an increased immunity to other respiratory pathogens as well.
We hope this change in our vaccination requirements will help keep your dog as healthy as possible.
