How it Works
We’ve bundled the cost of your pet’s routine and preventive care for the year into 12 convenient monthly payments. Each plan includes exclusive discounts and special offers. A $65 annual service fee applies; if plan is paid in full, you’ll receive an additional 5% discount, and the enrollment fee is waived.
Preventative Lab Bundle:
For Canines: CBC, Diagnostic, T4, Urinalysis, Fecal, Heartworm/Tick Screening
For Felines: CBC, Diagnostic, T4, Urinalysis, Fecal, FELV/FIV, Heartworm Screening
**Dentistry: Any Non-routine dental services such as extractions and Sanos are NOT included.
Pet Insurance vs. Wellness Plans
Pet wellness plans are not the same as pet insurance.
- Pet insurance helps to cover unexpected or emergency visits, with reimbursements for preventative care, provided by outside vendors or providers.
- Pet Wellness Plans are provided by our hospital and focus on routine and preventative care.
Many pet parents will use a combination of both Pet insurance and Pet Wellness Plans for more complete coverage and peace of mind.

What are Wellness Plans?
Preventative care is essential to keeping your pet healthy. At Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital & Exotic Care, we make this care more affordable by dividing the cost into 12 equal monthly payments, automatically charged to your credit card.
What credit cards are accepted for the monthly payments?
Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Cards are stored securely offsite.
May I pay by cash, check, or monthly withdrawl from my checking account?
- Plans auto-charge the 15th of every month to a credit/debit card.
- You may pay the full year upfront (cash, check, credit card, or care credit) and the $65 enrollment fee is waived and you’ll receive an additional 5% discount on the total plan cost
Is there an enrollment fee?
Yes, Each plan has a $65 annual service fee. This fee is waived if the plan is paid in full at the time of enrollment.
What happens if a monthly payment fails?
If a scheduled payment does not process successfully, a $25 late fee will be added for each month the payment remains unpaid.
What services are included in the plan?
- Each plan includes six technician wellness appointments for services such as nail trims, ear cleanings, and/or anal gland expressions. You may choose one, two, or all three of these services per visit, but each visit counts as one appointment.
- Preventative bloodwork/lab panels must be completed all at once and cannot be split across separate visits.
- Fecal and urine samples may be dropped off within 30 days of the bloodwork being submitted.
What happens if I do not use all the services in my plan?
Services don’t roll over or get refunded. Plans include care we normally recommend for your pet within the year.
How do I qualify for a Wellness Plan?
Your account must be in good standing.
Are Wellness Plans automatically renewed?
No, you will get an email 30 days prior to expiration, you will need to notify us in order to renew and sign a new agreement.
I originally purchased a Bronze Wellness Plan, is it possible to upgrade to a Silver Wellness Plan?
Yes, you would only need to pay the difference between the two plans and the months already billed.
The pet I bought the wellness plan for is no longer with me, may I transfer the wellness plan to a different pet?
No, plans are pet specific. Our Office Manager will review cancellation and possible refunds or balances.
May I cancel my Wellness Plan?
Yes, if unused, you’ll receive a full refund minus the annual service fee. If services exceed payments made, you must pay the balance or continue monthly installments until there is a zero balance.
Are there additional discount if I’m part of a plan?
- Each plan is as listed and cannot be substituted.
- However, clients who pay in full receive a 5% discount on the total plan and the $65 annual service fee is waived.
