Operations and HR Manager

Meet Christina! Christina has a BS in Computer Science and attended Cardinal Stritch University for her Master's in Business Administration. Fun fact, when she was younger, she dreamt of becoming an actress. She even auditioned for the lead role in the movie "My Girl". However, life had other plans for her and those plans had led her here to Brook-Falls as our Operations & HR Manager.

Christina grew up in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Growing up, Christina’s best friend was her cat Christopher, who eventually passed away at home. His passing ignited a want to be involved in animal health to help sick animals like her Christopher. This led her down a path of working with a group of highly respected colleagues in the animal field who helped to mold her passion for professionalism and becoming a lifelong learner. Early in her career Mr. Rivera, Dr. Kirby, and Dr. Rudloff saw potential in her growth in the veterinary field and encouraged her through love, guidance, and support to be where she is today.

Christina loves working with animals and their families. Animals have unconditional love for people and bring joy to so many. Pets, like babies, do not have the ability to tell us when they're not feeling well and why. Through the partnership of the pet's family and the veterinary team, they work together to help pet's feel their best. What she enjoys most about working with animals is supporting the people who care for pets and their families. She loves to support the passion of the individuals who care for and have compassion for the human-animal bond.

Currently, Christina has a 17-year-old cat (Smokey) whom she acquired from a former co-worker who fostered him and his 2 other litter mates when they were only weeks old. Smokey, even at his old age, loves to play with his catnip mice! He also loves to snuggle with humans whenever he gets the chance to.

In her downtime, Christina enjoys spending time on her family's land and lake located a few hours north of here. Multiple generations have been able to make new memories there and she is grateful to have a place like this in her life. This land and her family help her maintain a balance in life so she can perform at her very best personally as well as professionally. She would like to give a shout-out to her sisters, Heather, Natalie, Chassa, and Kim for helping her strive to be the very best version of herself by keeping her grounded and reminding her that family is always number one.

Welcome to our Brook-Falls family Christina!
